It's 9am. Next class isn't until 11. I don't want to leave because I'll never find parking on time. Crud.

School again, joy of joys. All this semester I'll be out before 1230. Unfortunately (or not depending) I am taking 5 English courses this semester and for the foreseeable future. I didn't realize I had an hour between my last two MWF classes and was all ready to get the final class over and done with just to look and think "Aww fuck."

I remember why I hate the Einstein Bros. that the college provides too. The food sucks ass and so does the coffee. Or maybe it's just me, I've been having a really shitty morning. Rained last night, looked gray this morning but this is the little hole outside Ft. Campbell and I figured the shit would Abra Kadabra disappear. Nope. It was raining as I crossed to the Uni Center where the food is. I had to check myself before I really jinxed myself by saying "at least it isn't raining hard." As it is, it did pick up a smidge just before I made it under the roof.

I'm doing this on 2.5 hours of sleep and I'm surprisingly awake without a low pressure induced headache. A lack of sleep headache tried to develop between my first and second class but aspirin killed it. Gotta love generic OTC cocktails in a jar. The headache died but someone else decided to come calling, not that I wasn't expecting it. Fucking cramps. I could tell this was going to be the start of a shitty day when I woke up and packed the essentials accordingly but still, I don't often get those sort of painful cramps. Discomfort cramps, fine dandy perfectly normal. Painful, slightly stabby, push on the abdomen and it increases cramps? Nope.

Again - Fuck.

Last class today is expositiory writing. We shall see how that goes. The first two teachers were more or less cool (except for the fact that the Am. Lit 2 teacher has a speaking cadence like Bob-fuckin'-Ross) Not too many outside assignments so far but a whole shit load of reading. No surprise there.

Gods above, get this last class done with then I'm going to bed and I'm not waking up until 5. Thankfully I'm not working until Weds so that's good. Oh yeah, I guess that can get checked off my list of shit to accomplish over the summer. I was hired at the second Hollywood Video in the area with help from a desperate store manager whose turnover rate is ridiculously sky high and a well placed sibling. Perks of having a supervisor sibling at the good store in the house, neh?

20 min until the class starts, someone shoot me before I die of boredom.

My best friend for six years scares me. It's amazing the crap that comes out of her mouth. She sees the Inuyasha hugging the Skittles and she belts out that she wouldn't mind keeping him in a cage and telling him..."sit" every five minutes in a particualry evil manner. And now she lost her ice cream. Go figure. 

However, I like to think that I can be just as...creative...given enough initiative. Or sleep deprivation. ("Oh god yes, you know how fun that makes us. Who needs alcohol, go without sleep for three days." - do you see what I'm friends with?). Mah, at least I never have to worry about life being boring with her around.

There has only been 3 Lupins...hasn't there? The boys rise to the challenge and plan on meeting this number 4. For his sake, it better not be a hoax.

I love the rain...

WHEN I'M NOT OUTSIDE IN THE MIDDLE OF IT!!!!

I knew I should have skipped A&P this morning. No class is worth getting wet over, much less soaked. Because guess what...NO UMBRELLA! Of course there wasn't one in the car, that is just the Uni Gods out to bite me on the ass. My car jacket is just a little cotton sweat jacket and the zipper is busted so it doesn't zip. My laptop was inside my backpack. There was no way to avoid going through an ankle deep "mini" river of water to reach the class building.

However, as the fact that I'm posting can attest, my laptop made it through without a scratch. Thank gods.

My shoes are sitting under my desk trying to air dry. The soaked socks and inserts are stuffed into the roof of my bag away from everything else. And now I have 1.5hrs for my clothes to dry on my body. Really, I'm more interested in the water soaking my chest drying quick. Glad I didn't wear something light (pine green and heavy cotton, yay!) I am DD, I'm allowed to be happy about that.

Leaving the ranting behind- Harry Potter x Lupin the 3rd crossover in the works. Don't ask, I don't know where it came from much less where it's going.

Start of History 2020 (American History from Reconstruction onwards to today). Teacher is blind, like sunglasses, cane and everything. However, he knows what he's talking about (has his lectures memorized, wow), he's frank, and he doesn't do comprehensive tests. He has the student mindset down pat. We'll never remember this anyways, so why torture us (and his grader/helper) by doing anything comprehensive? I'll teach this chunk, here's the test, now forget it. So cool! B+ on the first test, the two chics next to be flunked hard the first test. I love my short term memory. Don't ask me what I was doing last week but what I was doing just an hour ago? HA! Actually...that's probably not a good thing. Oh well, so is life.

Chapter 7 of A Persian's Tale:  Scarred for Life (APT) is also in the works. Maybe this weekend on FFN. I need to post 3, 4, 5, 6 on HPFandom.net, Eventually.
Everything else is stewing but nothing concrete yet.

I managed to avoid an F last semester, one D and one Inc. I'm taking the Incomplete again to get an actual score. However, Incomplete is not an F!

Amazed aren't you? Figured this to be one of those "oooh, fad!" deals yea? Figured I forgot all about it two weeks later?

NOPE!

Real Life and my natural fickleness when it comes to writing are all to blame. I have finished spring semester, failed two classes by the by, and had to take a summer course immediately after for a required English I had boned the semester earlier. My parents chewed my ass out.

What can I say?

To do over the summer:
#3- Update this
#2- Update all current stories (on various accounts) at least once
AND
#1- Get a damn job. I swear, it's like I have the plague where applications are concerned. And when those (x2) get passed I bone the interview.

 

School starts Tuesday since Monday is MLK Jr. Day. I'm going to be working my happy little ass off pulling off B's and A's if I want to live to see my next birthday. Undoubtedly any posts to here will be done via the college campus where my folks can't see. Joy of joys (note sarcasm). Ah well.

Next series up will be The Newest Spirit Detective. Yu Yu Hakusho / Harry Potter crossover. Take one dead Harry, revive him, and make him Yusuke's pupil. Takes place mostly in YYH universe during the Sensui(?) arc and will wind up slash/yaoi- and not of the traditional pairing types. [Yusuke x Harry] and [Kurama x Hiei x Draco] with past mentions of Harry x Draco.

After that will be Dolphin's Five, then Shadow of the Lightning Kitsune, then my One Shots: Potion Master, Voldemort's Defeat, and Stupidity.
